  • Money Mule Scam

    Someone is wooed on a dating website or on social media, and may have been “dating” over the phone and by email for months. Trust is built, and they believe that person has their best interest at heart.

    They think they’ve found love or a way to make fast cash. So they do what is asked of them, they open accounts, give away credentials, or transfer money. The reality: they are victims and it’s all a big scam to illegally obtain money. The victim’s become money mules. Don’t become one.

    You think you are getting a call, email or text from a trustworthy entity, such as Primis bankers, government authorities, or renowned organizations.     You just passed along all that information to a scammer…plus you paid for something that doesn’t exist. Don’t fall prey to scammers who make fake online stores or listings with the intention of stealing from you.

Dispute a Charge

Whether there’s a simple error or a fraudulent charge, you have the right to dispute any charge on your Primis account (and don’t worry, our process doesn’t take weeks and months). Disputing a charge is easy and can be tackled in two ways.
